Great Food + Great Music = A Successful Night for anyone and Cactus Club Cafe did not disappoint. Dinner at Cactus Club Cafe restaurant Toronto was delicious.
Cactus Club is a multi levelled restaurant with each level offering a unique experience. I opted for the deck, the top-level with a live DJ, and even though it was the middle of winter the space heaters mounted on the ceiling made the deck quite cozy. While I dined with a few girlfriends I found my head unconsciously move to the beat of the music, the deck offers a lounge type atmosphere making it one of the best patios for winter in Toronto.
Cactus Club Cafe is in Toronto’s Financial District at First Canadian Place. Overall, the Cactus Club is a very great restaurant. The dishes were nicely prepared and the presentation was well done. The pricing is what you expect from downtown Toronto – a little pricey but not over the top.
I had the calamari, which was spectacular, the Butternut Squash Ravioli was simply amazing – I wish I would have gotten the dinner size portion as opposed to the appetizer size :). Finally, I ended my meal with a desert shot, the Velvet Underground – warm caramel foam, crunchy sponge toffee, velvety chocolate mousse – YUM! I’m not a mousse person but the velvet underground came recommended and I’m so happy it did. I left the Cactus Club satisfied and I’ll definitely venture back soon for another meal.
